    Food Safety and hygiene practices and the Determinants among street vendors during the Chain of Food Production in Northwest Ethiopia

    A community-based cross-sectional study design was conducted from March 10 to April 10, 2019. The questionnaire was comprised of socio-demographic, food safety and hygiene practices, the environment surrounding the vending site, stall, and production assessing questions. The data were collected using an interviewer-administered questionnaire with an observational checklist. The collected data were entered into EPI Data and analyzed by R software. Descriptive statistics were computed. A Binary logistic regression model was used at a 95 % CI.

    A hospital-based cross-sectional study was conducted from March 15 to May 15, 2019 among 356 mothers of under-five children with pneumonia in hospitals of the Bahir Dar city. The questionnaire was comprised of demographic, socioeconomic, health facility, behavioral and clinical related characterisitcs. The study participants were selected by using a stratified sampling technique and data was collected through face to face interview. Binary logistic regression was used at a 95% CI.
