Abstract A community-based cross-sectional study design was conducted from March 10 to April 10, 2019. The questionnaire was comprised of socio-demographic, food safety and hygiene practices, the environment surrounding the vending site, stall, and production assessing questions. The data were collected using an interviewer-administered questionnaire with an observational checklist. The collected data were entered into EPI Data and analyzed by R software. Descriptive statistics were computed. A Binary logistic regression model was used at a 95 % CI.
