| dc.description | An institution-based cross-sectional study was conducted from June 05 to July 30, 2024. A multistage sampling technique was employed to select a total of 648 among adult patients attending the Awi zone Public Hospitals. The dataset comprised of Socio-demographic factors (sex, age, residence, occupation, and education level), clinical characteristics (presence co-morbid disease, frequency of admission, category diagnosis at admission, duration of the disease after diagnosis in days, length of stay in hospital in days/month in the present admission, impaired mobility, frequency of hospitalization/hospital visit and personal related factors (social support, health care system, substance use, self-rated health status, social media exposure, and having family health related characteristics. The dataset is available in SPSS format. | |
