Description Institution-based cross-sectional survey supplemented with a qualitative approach was conducted from May 16- 29, 2022 in 151 health facilities in the war-affected zones in the Amhara region, Ethiopia. These zones were North Wollo, South Wollo, South Gondar, North Showa, Wag Himra and Oromo special zones, and Dessie city administration. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 151 health facilities. An interviewer-administered questionnaire was used to collect quantitative data, and an interviewer guide was used to collect qualitative data. Purposive sampling was used in the qualitative study. The quantitative data were entered into Kobo collect and analyzed using SPSS 25.0 whereas the qualitative data were analyzed manually using thematic analysis.
