Assessment of family Tuberculosis contact screening practice and its associated factors among Pulmonary Tuberculosis positive patients in South Wollo Zone, Amhara region, Ethiopia

dc.descriptionThis institution based cross-sectional study was conducted among 403 randomly selected pulmonary tuberculosis index cases in South Wollo Zone, Amhara region from May 1st to June 30th, 2020 via systematic random sampling technique. Data were collected through face-to-face interviewer-administered questioner. Multivariable logistic regression was performed. Age, sex, ethnicity, religion, marital status, educational status, occupation, residency, monthly average income, family size, screening status of the family for TB, family support, number of under five children, screened under five children, reason for family contact screening for the index cases, type of health facilities for treatment, distance time taken to health facility on foot, Mode of transport of the client, weighting time of the client from treatment related characteristics. The data was collected by SPSS software.
