Description A health-facility-based cross-sectional study design was conducted from June 1-30, 2024. A simple random sampling technique was employed to select a total of 396 under-five children. Data were entered to Statistical Software Package for Social Sciences version 21 for analysis. The dataset comprised of socio-demographic factors (age, sex, residence), medical co-morbidity (TB, Pneumonia, Dehydration, Anemia, HIV/AIDS, vomiting dehydration, shock), type of severe acute malnutrition (Edematous, non-edematous), treatment given (IV medication, Oral medication, deworming, folic acid, Vitamin A, baseline Anthropometric measurement (MUAC, Height, Weight), and vital signs (PR, RR, To) related characteristics. The dataset is available in SPSS format.
