Abstract
Description
A health-facility-based cross-sectional study design was conducted from February to March, 2017. A systematic sampling technique was employed to select a total of 306 pregnant mothers. Data were entered to Statistical Software Package for Social Sciences version 20 for analysis. The dataset comprised of socio economic and demographic variables (age, residence, marital status, education level, income, religion and occupation),
personal variable (habit of taking bath, habit of shoe wearing, habit of hand washing, eating raw fruit and vegetable, latrine utilization, number of pregnancy and gestational age), environmental variables and (numbers of living room, availability of latrine, source of drinking water and domestic animals) related characteristics. The dataset is available in SPSS format.
