dc.descriptionA Multicenter institutional-based cross-sectional survey was conducted from October 1 to December 30/2024. A systematic random sampling technique was employed to select a total of 310 stroke survivors. The dataset comprised of Socio-demographic characteristics (age, gender, ethnicity, marital status, religion, educational level, occupational status, and income level), clinical Factors (type of stroke (Ischemic, Hemorrhagic), time since stroke onset, location of stroke, functional status (disability), adherence to medication regimen, family history of mental illness, previous history of mental illness), psychosocial variables (prior trauma exposure other than stroke, coping strategies, social support, comorbid depression, anxiety), and substance use (alcohol consumption, Cigarette smoking, and Khat chewing) related characteristics. The dataset is available in SPSS format.

local.criteria.exclusionClients having less than one month of diagnosis, already diagnosed for dementia, who developed Aphasia, having hearing impairment (chart) and critically ill leveled by physician were excluded from the study.
