Description This community-based cross-sectional survey was conducted in metropolitan cities of the Amhara region from March 2020 to April 30, 2021. A multi-stage sampling technique was used to select 554. The data was collected using interviewer interviewer-administered structured questionnaire. The questionnaire was comprised of sociodemographic, and environmental, knowledge of child caring and hygiene practices of mother/caregiver. The collected data were entered into the Epi-Data software and analyzed via SPSS. Descriptive statistics were computed and a Logistic regression model was at 95%CI.
