The dataset includes variables on participant identification and demographics (respondent, age, sex, religion), socio-economic status (education and occupation of participant and caregiver), and household characteristics (family size, number of rooms, window availability, distance to health facility). It also captures disease-related information such as case status, symptoms, complications, contact history, and previous infection, as well as vaccination status, number of doses, and reasons for non-vaccination. Additionally, it assesses knowledge of pertussis transmission, prevention, and its status as a vaccine-preventable disease, along with family infection exposure and categorized variables for age and family size.
