Abstract
Description
A facility-based cross-sectional survey was conducted from January 1-30/2022 among 636 HIV-positive reproductive-age women using a systematic random sampling technique. The questionnaire comprises of variables; socio-demographic, HIV/AIDS-related, personal behavior-related, sexuality and obstetric-related, knowledge and attitude about cervical cancer-related characteristics. The data was collected by a semi-structured and interviewer-administered questionnaire and chart review. Data was coded and entered into Epi-data version 4.2 software and analyzed using SPSS version 23. Binary logistic regression was used to identify factors associated with cervical cancer at 95% confidence interval.
