Abstract
Description
An institution based retrospective follow-up study design was conducted among randomly selected 510 hypertensive patients who has follow-up in public hospitals of Awi Zone between July 21/ 2020 and June 20/2024, from February 23/ 2025 to March 28/ 2025. A simple random sampling technique was used. The data collection tool was comprised of socio-demographic characteristics (age, gender, residency), clinical factors (blood pressure readings, protein urea, drug category, frequency of taking medication), comorbidity (diabetes, CKD, hyperlipidemia, bronchial asthma), and medication related characteristics (medication category, medication frequency) related characteristics. The dataset is available in SPSS format.
