Abstract
Description
This survey was done in central Armachiho from August to September 2020. The data were collected using a multistage sampling technique and cross-sectional study design to get a sample of 857 participants. The data was collected by using a pre-tested structured questionnaire adapted from a variety of literature. The dataset comprises variables; Socio-demographic and family characteristics ( age and sex of the child, area of residence, education of mothers, education of father, education of children, occupation of mothers, occupation of father, wealth index of the household, family size, religion, ethnicity, marital status of household head and living with internally displaced people) were assessed. In addition to this, scabies-related knowledge, environmental, personal hygiene, and sanitation factors were also assessed. The collected data was entered into the Epi-data version 7 and analyzed using SPSS version 20 software. A binary logistic regression model was used.
