        An institutional based cross-sectional study design was conducted from August 1, 2024 up to September 30, 2024. A simple random sampling technique was employed to select a total of 333 adult diabetic patients. The dataset comprised of socio-demographic characteristics (age, sex, marital status, educational status, religion, occupation, income and place of residence), and clinical and behavioral characteristics (diabetic peripheral neuropathy, peripheral arterial disease, duration of diabetes mellitus, BMI, diabetes control status, diabetes type, foot deformity, poor self-care practice, access to health care service, smoking. Chat chewing and alcohol intake) related characteristics. The dataset is available in SPSS format.
